My Journey as a CNA During my junior year of high school, my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and losing her had a tremendous impact on my life. I had already experienced the loss of my father when I was five years old due to complications from diabetes. Losing both of my parents at such young ages helped shape the person I am today and inspired me to make a difference in the lives of others. After graduating high school, I decided to pursue my CNA certification because I knew I wanted to care for people and make them feel loved, valued, and respected. For the past 11 years, I have been blessed to work as a CNA, providing care and comfort to those who need it most. Being a CNA is more than just a job to me; it is something I am passionate about and a way to make a positive impact on someone's life. As a mother of two children, I want to continue growing both personally and professionally. I am now working toward returning to school to become an LVN so I can further my education, expand my knowledge, and continue fulfilling my passion for caring for others. My experiences have taught me how precious life is, and I want every person I care for to feel the compassion, dignity, and kindness they deserve.
